The Reserve Bank Zimbabwe (RBZ) team is in Mashonaland Central province as part of the ongoing phase two of the 2025 Global Money Week outreach programme promoting financial literacy among learners.

The team kicked off the tour in Bindura district and will be engaging students across all districts in the province during the week.

The initiative aims to empower learners with knowledge essential to make informed financial decisions.

Students are getting insights on key financial lessons including:
•Mastering how to budget
•Understanding investments
•Developing a savings culture

The outreach takes place at the time of Global Money Week which is an annual financial awareness campaign built to inspire children & youth to learn about financial literacy.

Apparently, the ultimate objective is empowering learners to take action to improve their financial well-being and empowering communities, providing ideas, skills and knowledge to make the right financial decisions.
