Synodia Beverley Gato a 16 year old student at Saruwe Secondary School, Selous, failed to write this year’s O levels after her female teacher(pictured)severely assaulted her and broke her right arm for arriving at school late.
The local police did not make any arrests but only wrote a note advising the student to get medical attention.
Mashonaland West Police Spokesperson, Inspector Clemence Mabgweazara told reporters that he will act after digesting the story.
Meanwhile Mashonaland West Provincial Education Director Mr Sylvester Mashayamombe said his office has not yet been briefed about the abuse.
It appears Synodia who had two plasters could have fractured her born and suffered other complications.
She is now looking for $300 to get another check-up and is concerned that her school and the teacher have done nothing to help.
Instead they have intimidated other students so they do not give any statements to police.
