Latest News Update on Harare Vendors Demonstration Today

There was chaos this morning in Harare as vendors fought mini running battles with stone throwing Zanu PF supporters.

This happened following a standoff between the former and Harare Council police.

Zimnews reporters witnessed hordes of Zanu PF linked youths throwing stones at people without any intervention from Zimbabwe police.

The youths were filmed throwing stones at vendors and passers by in the CBD area along Leopold Takawira avenue.

Local activist, Stan Zvorwadza observed the situation from his car;

“At last ZRP arrived but now dispersing ordinary citizens but ignoring Zanu PF hooligans. Shocking. Our Police Force is annoyingly partisan,” he said.

Harare has witnessed deadly cashes and protests as desperate people want answers as the future looks bleak.

President Mugabe’s government has been blamed for failing to turn around the country’s economy.
