Prominent CCC supporter Madzibaba Veshanduko tortured in police custody

Prominent Citizens Coalition for Change CCC supporter, Madzibaba Veshanduko has reportedly been tortytor while in police custody.

Madzibaba Veshanduko was arrested in Harare CBD this morning for what they call disorderly conduct and detained.

Prominent investigative journalist Hopewell Chin’ono posted:

“This is what Zimbabwean policed did to main opposition CCC supporter, MadziBaba veShanduko, real name Godfrey Karembera.

“He was tortured for wearing his Yellow Regalia and for encouraging citizens to vote for Nelson Chamisa.

“They said it was disorderly conduct!”

CCC president Nelson Chamisa has condemned Madzibaba’s torture by police.

“State sanctioned violence against unarmed & peace loving citizens is criminal, sadistic,illegal and must be condemned not condoned.

“The perpetrators must be punished for this barbarism. This is what earns us a banana republic tag and tarnishes the image of our great country!,” He said.
