President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has appointed Aaron Nhepera as the new Secretary for Defence.
He has been moved from Ministry of Home Affairs.
He is a former Deputy Director General in the President’s Office, in charge of the Central Intelligence Operatives.
Meanwhile, the President has also appointed Dr Gerald Gwinji Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Dr Gwinji joined ZNA as Medical Officer; and he rose through the ranks to become Senior Medical Officer.
He is a former Secretary for Health and Childcare.
