A 32 year old police officer sergeant Paul Mutingoringo has been sentenced to 30 months in jail after being convicted of extortion.
The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe reports that the offence was committed between 3rd and 23th of June 2025.
It is reported that the offender demanded bribe to give the complainant back his driver’s licence he had confiscated for a traffic transgression.
