The Zimbabwe Republic Police has issued a stern warning to social media users accused of trying to destabilise the country.
Speaking to the Daily News, Police National Spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said a crackdown is underway to identify and prosecute those using online platforms to incite disorder.
Nyathi stressed that the police are “going all out” to bring offenders to book, warning that online actions carry real-world consequences.
