MDC-Alliance leader Mr Nelson Chamisa, who is on a campaign trail in Matabeleland North Province on Sunday descended on Hwange and Victoria Falls where he addressed thousands of people most of them MDC party supporters.
Chamisa told the gathering that MDC-Alliance has developed strong ties with Mr Mugabe’s foot soldiers, the Central Intelligence Organization (CIO) and the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) who feel neglected and humiliated by the Mnangagwa regime that came following a military coup in November 2017.
He also took time to attack Mnangagwa’s ’empty’ Zimbabwe is open for business message which he said does not do much to safeguard national assets and resources.
There was drama at Old Hwange stadium when the stage on which the MDC Alliance chief and some of the party’s local authority candidates were standing on collapsed.
No One was injured.
Chamisa finished his Sunday rallies by addressing party supporters at Chinotimba Stadium in Victoria Falls where he promised to turn the resort town into Las Vegas of Africa.
Chamisa also addressed rallies in Lupane and Binga on Friday and Saturday respectively.
