Joice Mujuru’s Zim PF is expected to address thousands of supporters including card carrying rebel Zanu PF die-hards at Mucheke Stadium in Masvingo this Saturday 9 July.
While President Robert Mugabe’s Zanu PF is struggling to survive in Masvingo in the face of deadly factional wars, ZimPF is highly regarded in the province where the #Zimbabwe Shut Down protest had a resounding effect this past Wednesday.
“All roads are leading to Mucheke Stadium on Saturday (tomorrow) as we host our party president Dr Joice Mujuru. We urge everyone to come and hear what she has to offer for a new Zimbabwe,”said Dzikamai Mavhaire, ZimPF organising secretary.
The core of Mujuru’s party is made up of thousands of former Zanu PF supporters who left the ruling party following a bitter power struggle in December 2014.
ZimPF is pushing for a united opposition front against President Robert Mugabe in 2018 Zimbabwe General Elections.
