It was a sad day in Harare South today after a kombi ferrying school kids was involved in a fatal crash near Southlea Park turn-off.
According to a police report, one school child died on the spot while four others were seriously injured when their commuter omnibus failed to negotiate a corner near the tollgate after Mbudzi round about.
4 passengers were seriously injured.
Bad roads and overspeeding is the major cause of road fatalities in Zimbabwe.
Harare police did not respond when asked to comment on the accident.
