There was a protest march organised by youths from Tajamuka movement in Harare, Zimbabwe’s capital today.
They planned to march to the parliament house where they were supposed to hand over a document asking for the immediate departure of President Robert Mugabe from office.
However, they were welcomed by a ‘violent and aggressive police force’ that fired teargas and charged at them without warning.
OK First Street Supermarket and other shops were closed as riot police fought running battles with Mugabe Must Go protesters.
