A family in Kuwadzana 2 has been left homeless after a fire gutted their house this afternoon. The fire destroyed property worth thousands of dollars. However, no fatalities were recorded.
The inferno is suspected to have started soon after the switching on of power by ZETDC after hours of load shedding.
According to eyewitnesses, the local fire brigade team arrived with a wailing truck only to realize that their tanks were empty.
