PICS: 11 000 volts kill copper cable thieves

ZWNEWS-Two of three Copper cable thieves have died in Chegutu after being electrocuted by a 11 000 volts power line.

The three were trying to steal copper cables from a live Zesa power line.

Chegutu police have attended to the scene and the severely injured survivor cable thief is currently hospitalised at Chegutu District Hospital.

Police Spokesman for Mashonaland West Province, Inspector Clemence Mabgeazara said the three tripped over head cables which later turned live while they were in the process of trying to cut them
