Chiyangwa savages Issa Hayatou: We destroyed the dictator..CAF latest video

Addis Ababa: Zimbabwe and Southern Africa football chief Philip Chiyangwa has wasted no time to savage his now vanquished nemesis, Issa Hayatou.

Having spearheaded new CAF President Ahmad’s campaign against the Cameroonian, Chiyangwa was in a celebratory mood after he successfully managed one of the biggest coups in world football.

Chiyangwa was the campaign manager for Madagascar’s Ahmad who polled 34 votes against Hayatou’s 30 to end the later’s 29 years reign.

Asked about his feelings just after the results were announced Chiyangwa told a  reporter that he was very glad;

“You know we have destroyed the emperor, like I told people before, when I start fighting I don’t stop and you can see the results, Africa must be happy. It’s liberated now”, he said.

We have destroyed a dictator: Chiyangwa

Chiyangwa said that he had just led a revolution that ended Hayatou dictatorship.

“We got it. People were not sure but ehh, we destroyed the dictator,” he added.

Chiyangwa has other reasons to celebrate too.

He was facing disciplinary action and possible sanctions from CAF and Hayatou after he invited FIFA President Gianni Infantino and several Africa football association leaders to a party in Harare last month that he used to canvass for Ahmad votes.zwnews.com
