Lands and agriculture minister Perrance Shiri who has been in hospital after his driver tested positive for Covid19, has reportedly passed away.
Although Zwnews could not immediately get an officially comment from the Government, reports from Harare say Shiri could have sucçumbed to the novel coronavirus.
Minister Shiri’s deputy, Vangelis Haritatos confirmed that Minister Shiri died early this morning.
“Sadly this is true. Hon. Minister Shiri passed on this morning,” he said.
Minister Shiri was conspicuous about his absence in yesterday’s Politburo meeting.
