A number of tourists described by Zimbabwe Police as ‘white Australians’ were arrested in Victoria Falls for joining the Zimbabwe protests yesterday.
According to various news reports from the tourist town, the OZ visitors are due to appear at Victoria Falls court were they will face public disorder charges.
Observers saw a number of tourists in the town waving placards written Viva Zimbabwe, Enough is enough; No to import ban; Mugabe must Go Now among many other Shut Down messages, as the Stay Away was called.
