Owen Mudha Ncube loses top Midlands post

Former State Security minister Owen “Mudha” Ncube who recently made headlines after he was sacked by President Emmerson Mnangagwa has suffered another blow after he lost the Zanu PF Midlands provincial vice chairmanship over the weekend.

Recently, Ncube was fired by President Mnangagwa with immediate effect.

A statement that was released by the Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr M. Sibanda read:

“REMOVAL FROM OFFICE OF CABINET MINISTER

His Excellency the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Cde E D Mnangagwa, has in terms of section 340, subsection (1), paragraph (f), as read with section 104, subsection (1) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe removed Owen Ncube from Office of Cabinet Minister and Minister of Government with immediate effect for conduct inappropriate for a Minister of Government.
