Opposition Deputy President Obert Gutu Leaves MDC-T Khupe

The Thokozani Khupe led MDC-T  has been delt another major blow after its deputy leader Obert Gutu announced he is leaving the party without giving any reasons.

Posting on his twitter account Gutu wrote:

For purely personal & private reasons, I’m resigning from the MDC-T with immediate effect. Kindly be advised accordingly

Speculation is rife on Gutu’s political future with some people suggesting that he will rejoin the Nelson Chamisa led MDC.

However some analysts believe he will likely join President Mnangagwa’s Zanu PF which has been praising recently on social media.
