The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) has assured the nation and the banking public that American dollars do not expire.
The bank says as recently advised by the United States embassy in Harare, US dollar notes don’t expire no matter their age, how worn out or dirty they maybe.
Zimbabwe uses the US dollar as its main currency, together with other base currencies including the local currency, the Zimbabwe dollar.
