Nobel Peace prize laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu dies

Archbishop Desmond Tutu, the Nobel Peace prize laureate who helped end apartheid in South Africa, has died.

He was 90.

Tutu rose to prominence as a churchman who berated minority white rule in South Africa and did not spare criticism for the post-apartheid African National Congress (ANC) rulers for failing to deliver for poor Black people.
He died on Sunday in Cape Town after a long battle with prostate cancer and infection.
