A Netone Defender which was swept away on Saturday monrning has finally been pulled out of the water and two dead bodies were found inside the car.
This was made possible by Malilangwe Trust which provided a speed boat and Tongaat Huletts which provided a crane together with the communities which managed to pull out the defender.
A speed boat went to where the defender was and tied a chain on the defender then the crane tried to pull out but to no avail.
Some villagers however came to the rescue and managed to pull out the vehicle at around 1 PM this afternoon.
Netone is yet to release a press statement on the matter.
The Netone defender was swept away on Saturday at around 9am when it was on its way from refuelling a phone base station in Chikombedzi.
May lives continue to be lost and Chiredzi South Constituency legislator Callisto Gwanetsa when he visited Chilonga Bridge yesterday said the only solution was to construct a proper bridge at Chilonga.
