Mutasa endorses Tsvangirai: He deserves to lead

Former Zimbabwe secret service boss and Mugabe right hand man, Dydimus Mutasa, has picked MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai as ‘one and only person’ with qualities to fight and defeat Mugabe in 2018 presidential elections.

Mutasa said while there were many people who aspired to lead the planned grand alliance only, Tsvangirai had the support and the credentials to take that position, completely rubbishing in the process both the capacity and chances of former VP Joice Mujuru to lead the opposition.

Tsvangirai will engage in coalition talks with both ex-Vice-President Joice Mujuru as well as her erstwhile comrades led by Didymus Mutasa and Rugare Gumbo.

Mujuru was tipped as one of the favorites to lead the coalition but has since fallen down the packing order after she was booted out of Zim PF, a party she led following her expulsion from Zanu PF.
