Murowa Diamond Mine in Zvishavane has stopped operations amid US$4.5 million electricity debt, reports COZWVA.
The mine halted operations after the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority disconnected power supply on Monday.
This comes on the heels of the company’s admission that it is struggling to pay outstanding 2024 salaries dating back to October.
