14 people killed in Harare-Nyamapanda road accident, Kombis in headon collision

Accident alert: There was a deadly head on collision at Musami Cross in Murehwa, Mashonaland East province along Harare-Nyamapanda highway today.

The accident occurred around 0720 hours, today, Monday 21 August and 10 people were killed according to a leaked police report.

A local police officer refused to speak with reporters when asked to comment on the accident.

He referred all questions to their spokesperson in Harare who was not available to shed more light on what actually happened.

Images seen by zimnewsnet show blood on steering wheels and windshields from both vehicles indicating the painful last moments for those caught up in the carnage.

Zimbabwe’s roads are in bad shape following this year’s heavy rains.
