Former Zimbabwe and Amazulu footballer David Mukandawire(Mkandawire) has fallen on hard times in South Africa, zwnews.com has been told.

Amazulu was Zimbabwe’s richest club during its time.

There is already some calls on social networks to help the footballer.
Many are also arguing on whether it is bad money management or just mental health issues that need sorting at some hospital.
At the moment, the once celebrated footballer is leaving a destitute’s life in SA, all he has is just a paper-bag with all his property.
From outside it is clear he might be suffering from mental health problems.
‘His lack of proper personal care epitomised by dirty clothes and unbathed body is a clear indicator of serious mental health problems’ according to a Harare based physician who refused to be named.
We are not sure if he is related to Gary Mukandawire a talented former Zimbabwe footballer.
