Mugabe will lose to MDC Tsvangirai: Says Mnangagwa ally

Emmerson Mnangagwa aide arrested for saying MDC T is a powerful force

VP Emmerson Mnangagwa’s top ally, Energy Mutodi, is in hot soup after he posted an article online indicating that President Robert Mugabe does not stand a chance against against Morgan Tsvangirai in urban areas.

Detectives from the CID Law and Order section nabbed Mutodi after made it clear that Mugabe is not liked by the electorate in places like Glenview, Harare.

“Even if we put president mugabe in Glenview as an MP he would lose there. Zanu pf cannot win in an mdc stronghold. That is why ED(Mnangagwa) lost in Kwekwe,” wrote Mutodi.

Mutodi who is facing criminal charges of undermining President Robert Mugabe’s authority, has since filed an affidavit at the High Court defending his Facebook post, claiming it was based on his constitutional right to freedom of expression.

His bail application is set to be heard at the High Court today.
