Mugabe Must Go Now..Zim Presidency on Tajamuka’s top list of demands

President Mugabe can’t go on until 2018 and definitely should not be part of the post 2018 era!

Tajamuka a vibrant youth led protest organisation has given President Mugabe’s government a 31 August 2016 deadline to come up with a clear statement and plan as far as the country’s presidency is concerned as he should not be part of the post 2018 era.

Sijamukile/Tajamuka is made up of youths from Zanu PF(card carrying rebels), MDC, Zim PF and different other pressure groups operating mainly in Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Their leader is Promise Mkwananzi.

Tajamuka spokesperson Promise Mkwananzi told our reporters that Zimbabwe youth are angry and want change ‘as soon as yesterday’.

They want answers from government.

At the top of their list, Mkwananzi said, is the Mugabe presidency.

“We are giving the government up to the 31 August 2016, for President Mugabe to either step down or indicate to the nation a timeline framework in as far as his vacation of the presidential office is concerned. And also some benchmark towards proper transition in the country,” said Mkwanazi.

He said the campaign will take their demands and proposals to regional bodies.

“President Mugabe can’t go on until 2018 and definitely should not be part of the post 2018 era,” said Mkwananzi.

He said it’s time for a new era in Zimbabwe and warned that the youth are ready to do ‘the unthinkable’ should their demands not be met by government.

Here is a list of Sijamukile’s demands in Zimbabwe

  1. Mugabe can not go on until 2018,  post 2018 era way too far
  2. Zanu PF government must end  corruption
  3. Drop imports ban
