Anti-President Robert Mugabe, Pastor Phillip Patrick Mugadza, said he was considering running for public office.
Mugadza said at the weekend that he was going to contest as a member of parliament, in the next year’s elections.
Mugadza who comes from Gutu South said he wanted to run as an independent candidate in either Harare or Kariba.
“I have not yet decided on which constituency to run for because, in Kariba the church there is reluctant to engage in hard core politics. So I might be running here in Harare,” said Pastor Mugadza.
Mugadza made waves early this year after he claimed that God had revealed that President Robert Mugabe was going to die on the 17th of October.
