Mundembe, Tsakani Chauke
It never rains but pours for married Chinhoyi based ZESA boss, Mr Christopher Mundembe, who has been suspended from duty pending internal disciplinary following his well reported secret liaisons with MSU female student who were on attachment at his workplace.
Mundembe a senior human resources manager at Zesa Chinhoyi was served a letter of suspension by the parastatal for allegedly bringing the organisations name into disrepute, s_exual harassment and absenteeism.
He has since then been stripped off, of his benefits including a top of the range Mazda BT50 truck that is now parked at the company premises.
The date for the internal disciplinary hearing is yet to be set.
Earlier this week,Mundembe (46) lost an appeal to quash the suspension that Chinhoyi magistrate Christopher Nyandoro said lacked merit because there was no basis of the parastatal to incriminate him for s_exual harassment.
Mundembe allegedly molested a student on attachment at the company’s Nothern Region headquarters, Megawatt house in Chinhoyi.
Mudembe then allegedly called the student to his office, fondled her breasts and buttocks without consent and later sent her n_ude photographs.
In defence, Mudembe, through his lawyer Charles Matarutse, argued that he had summoned the girl to his office so as to reprimand her for spreading malicious information that the two were having an illicit affair.
The matter was remanded to May 14, but the parastatal served
Mundembe made headlines last month when ZwNews.com published leaked bedroom videos and photos of him and a Midlands State University Student, Tsakani Chauke, who recently completed her internship at the power utility.
