One person was killed yesterday morning when an South Africa bound Intercape bus collided with a Toyota Hilux truck 2km outside Masvingo city along the Harare-Masvingo highway about 10:30 AM.
According to a police report, an assistant driver died on the spot after falling off the coach when it hit a Toyota Hilux which had indicated to turn left but later proceeded straight.
The bus reportedly swerved off the road and hit a tree as it tried in vain to avoid the truck.
