A social media(Twitter) user by the name Monomutapa warned President Emmerson Mnangagwa two days before his assassination attempt.

The anonymous activist identifying himself as Monomutapa warned Mnangagwa in a Twitter message with 21 June, 2018 time stamp.

Wrote Monomutapa:

There is a plot to assassinate you after the election leading to the rise of Chiwenga to the incumbency. I am not threatening the life of the president but actually providing a tip that may help keep him alive. Stay safe. To the men and women who protect him be vigilant,” he said.

Many people are now asking if he has any links with CIOs and where exactly he got the information from.

Over 45 people were injured. 6 needed life serving surgeries.
