Renowned investigative journalist Hopewell Chin’ono says he was once offered a job by Minister and Information Monica Mustvangwa but he rejected the offer.
Chin’ono says the offer was dangled at him in the presence of Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information Nick Mangwana and he denied.
“Dear @Temba Mliswa I was not discarded by the New Deception.
“I was offered jobs twice & REFUSED.
“The late Doug Munatsi and the present Edwin Manikai asked me to join and I refused.
“Mai Mutsvangwa offered me to go to ZBC in the presence of @nickmangwana & I refused.
Facts matter.”
He was responding to Norton Independent Member of Parliament Temba Mliswa who had posted:
“I always say that most political parties score own goals.
“@daddyhope, like most of us, was part of the process that birthed the 2nd Republic but was discarded after the victory.
“Now he has become the voice of Zimbabwe in terms of highlighting the failures& rot in this country.”
