Renowned publisher Trevor Ncube says under normal circumstances President Emmerson Mnangagwa would schedule a Press Conference to address the damning allegations in the first episode of the AlJazeera Documentary .
Ncube an ex member of Mnangagwa’s Presidential Advisory Council says the President should address the nation and take questions from journalists saying silence is not an option for him.
“Under normal circumstances
@edmnangagwa would schedule a Press Conference to address the damning allegations in the first episode of the #AlJazeeraDocumentary.
“He would address the nation, take questions from journalists. Silence is not an option. I am an optimist,” says Ncube.
Ncube’s comments comes after President Mnangagwa’s allies were implicated in corruption in a documentary by Aljazeera.
Apparently, one of Mnangagwa’s implicated allies, Uebert Angel has been brought under probe by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe’s Financial Intelligence Unit.
Ncube urged fellow countrymen to register to vote and on integrity and not political parties.
“It is a good thing to be angry after watching the #AlJazeeraDocumentary Key question is what are you going to do after that? We have been here before, many times.
“Lots of righteous outrage followed by business as usual. #RegisterToVoteZW, focus on integrity not political parties.”
