HARARE: President Robert Gabriel Mugabe will soon meet his former deputy Emmerson Mnangagwa to chat a way forward, General Constantino Chiwenga has told journalists in the capital today.
Chiwenga speaking at a media briefing at the Army Headquarters said Mngangagwa will be in the country soon to meet the outgoing president.
“In the mean time His Excellency and Commander in Chief of the Defence Forces Mr R G Mugabe has started processes so that a definitive solution and road map is found,” said Chiwenga.
Chiwenga said the ZDF has agreed a “roadmap” with Mugabe for the return of Mnangagwa emphasizing that all parties have agreed to take the country out of it’s current circumstances.
