Latest: Mnangagwa blasts Moyo, Mphoko: Mugabe returns to Zmbabwe

Latest: Mugabe is back in Zim, Upset with Zanu PF factional wars

Under fire Zimbabwe Vice President, Emmerson D Mnangagwa,  has spoken for the first time about Zanu PF ‘looting and raiding’ that has resulted in  fights between rival factions in the ruling party.

Mnangagwa was asked  by opposition MDC parliamentarians to clarify if government condones abuse of state funds by  Zanu PF politicians.

Mnangagwa then told the nation that only Mugabe is immune to arrest in Zimbabwe.

Everyone else starting with (Vice Presidents, First Lady, Ministers) can be arrested if found on the wrong side of law.

This is in sharp contradiction to Mphoko’s statement. While in Bulawayo last week, Vice President Mphoko told Zanu PF supporters that no Cabinet minister could be arrested in Zimbabwe.

But Mnangagwa trashed Mphoko’s views by saying the opposite;

“Everyone else in this country is fair game. They are not above the law. There is no one above the law. If the Hon. Member is aware that someone did not follow the law(Jonathan Moyo), they should go to the powers that carry out this work and then they will be able to conduct their duty”.

Yesterday, a government insider exclusively revealed to Zimnews reporters that Mugabe is back in Zimbabwe today, Thursday 13th.

He is unhappy with the on goings and will have a no nonsense face to face meeting with his Ministers and Vice Presidents in a bid to bring order to Zanu PF.

Mugabe is worried about the public fights that he believes will undermine his party ahead of the crucial 2018 elections.
