Mnangagwa Mourns Death of Veteran African President

Acting President Emmerson Mnangagwa has expressed shock and loss at the unexpected death of respected African liberation fighter and President of Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic Mr Abdel Aziz.

Mr Aziz who died in Algeria today has been in power since 1982.

Aziz(68) was well known in Africa for his quest for self determination.

He left behind a wife and 5 grown children.

Mnangagwa  left his message at the Saharawi ambassador’s office.

In his message in the condolences book, acting president President Mnangagwa said the late Aziz dedicated his life to the just struggle of the oppressed people of Africa.
