Norton Independent Member of Parliament Temba Mliswa says President Emmerson Mnangagwa was in the dark when civilians were being shot by ZNA members in 2019.
He questions if ZANU PF functionaries understand that some of their actions create awkward scenarios for their leaders at international forums.
“The country is pushing for re-engagement and we have scenes where Madzibaba Veshanduko is beaten and Mboneni Ncube is killed at an opposition rally,” says.
Mliswa adds:
“The same with the shootings of civilians in January 2019, the President was in the dark about any directive to shoot but he was held responsible and now there is the Mothlanthe report whose recommendations are yet to be done.”
