Mnangagwa ‘comes’ to Nyatsime, ZANU-PF councillor demands closure of schools

The Amalgamated Rural Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (ARTUZ) has accused the ruling party ZANU PF of undermining the children’s education.

“The Zanu Pf Councillor is suggesting schools be closed for the day as the President is coming.

“We have always demanded that schools are not Political playgrounds and this fights against the soul of making schools safe from any external interference,” says ARTUZ.

The teachers body adds that:

“Dear Zimbabweans, they have been promising free education yet failing to deliver now when schools are not safe a local Nyatsime Councillor by the name Masimbi who is notorious for causing chaos at a funeral is now calling for closure of schools due to ED’s visit.”

President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa is set to visit Nyatsime.

Apparently the Zimbabwe Republic Police has launched a probe on the death of two ZANU-PF leaders in Nyatsime.

The two died under unclear circumstances moreso following the recent murder of Citizens Coalition for Change member Moreblessing Ali.

The family lawyer Job Sikhala who is in jail threatened that Ali’s spirit will seek revenge.
