The Ministry of Sports, Arts and Culture has hosted a National Women & Girls Sports Festival in Masvingo as part of belated International Women’s Day celebrations.
The Festival sought to promote inclusion & participation of women in sport and recognise the accomplishments of females in sport.
The festival aims to increase participation of women and girls in sport and recreation programs, capacitate females in sport and recreation and create rehabilitation platforms for female inmates and victims of abuse.
