Millers announces fresh mealie meal, bread price hikes

The Grain Millers Association of Zimbabwe have announced a new round of maize meal and bread price hikes as grain costs soar.

The Russia-Ukraine induced global food inflation crisis is causing serious headwinds, and Zimbabwe is not spared.

Since break out of the war, food prices have been rising, as the two warring countries contribute to the world food basket.

The war has also saw a rise in energy, which has a bearing on the prices of basic commodities.
