A kind gesture by Honourable Amos Chibaya of MDC T was exhibited in ward 9 , Mkoba District, Gweru today 07/07/2017.
All people in attendance(local women) received basics such as soap and sugar.
There were 100 plus women who had been identified to be recipients.
The donation is aimed at complimenting the party’s ongoing programs of “Mhou Nemhuri Yayo” and “Bereka Mwana” in order to reach the targeted number of 35 000 votes in Mkoba during the 2018 Harmonized Elections.
The recipients were very excited and grateful for the kind gesture shown by Hon. A. Chibaya.
Chibaya asked the women to encourage, motive and inform their children about the importance of registering and also voting in the coming elections.
According to party sources, this is an ongoing exercise that will reach out to all the women in Mkoba District.
MDC plans to to be in touch with all potential voters so that they can be encouraged to register for 2018 elections before the window closes.
