Maybe I will be arrested soon: Chiwenga’s father-in-law Kenny Mubaiwa

General Chiwenga’s father-in-law Kenny Mubaiwa has announced that he has not been arrested by Zimbabwe authorities following widespread reports that he is in the cross-hairs of his vengeful son-in-law.

Mubaiwa whose daughter is going through hell falling a  nasty fallout with her estranged husband, Constantino Dominic Nyikadzino Guvheya Chiwenga, told reporters that he was still a free man when asked to shed more light on arrest rumours.

Said Mubaiwa:

I have not been ARRESTED. Maybe it will happen soon, but for now I am okay

Earlier it was reported via social media that the Harare businessman and father to Zimbabwe second lady has been taken into police custody.

Impeccable sources had reported that the entrepreneur and soccer administrator was arrested by law enforcement agents for importing vehicles into the country without paying customs and excise duty to Government.

Kenny Mubaiwa is well known in Zimbabwe football circles. He reportedly facilitated his ex-son-in-law Shingi Kaondera’s move to play club football in Poland, in 1999.
