Masvingo Hight Court orders Chamisa rally to go ahead

The High Court in Masvingo has given Citizens Coalition for Change CCC president Nelson Chamisa the green light to conduct his rally in the Province.

This is after the Zimbabwe Republic Policeh had banned it. Prompting the party to approach the courts.

Police cited that Zanu PF has 2 rallies in Masvingo on same day, and won’t “cope”.

But, the Judge ruled that police must provide security at all the rallies.

Meanwhile, the ministry of home affairs recently pointed out that it is not government policy that when President Emmerson Mnangagwa has a rally in a Province, opposition parties should be barred in the same area.
