Man targeted by armed robbers while having sex at football ground

On Monday, a man from Shamva was robbed of his money while having sex with a woman at a football ground in Mbare, Harare.

Isaac Chingoza (22) from Mugobo Gold Mine had hired Tatenda Vengesai (29) from Mbare for sex when Ethan Mugore (40) suddenly appeared with some unknown men and attacked and robbed him.

Isaac later discovered that Tatenda was Ethan’s accomplice and reported the incident to the police.

Ethan and Tatenda were arrested and detained at Stodart Police Station.

According to Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, Isaac sustained a deep cut on his nose and was referred to Sally Mugabe Central Hospital.

Insp Chakanza explained that Isaac and Tatenda agreed to have sex at Number 7 grounds in Mbare after meeting at Nyaumwe Bar, where they had been drinking beer.

Suddenly, Ethan and three unknown male adults appeared, and Ethan struck Isaac on the face with a brick, demanding cash.

Isaac refused, and Ethan stabbed him in his left arm with a knife. The accused persons then searched Isaac’s pockets and took US$85 and an Itel cellphone before leaving.
