Man (31) commits suicide after killing granny (70) over medication

The Zimbabwe Republic Police The ZRP is investigating a murder case in which the suspect, Patrick Hungwa (31) attacked to death his grandmother, Annah Hungwa (70) with a wooden log indiscriminately all over the body on 22 March 2023 at Tsiko Village, Mutoko.

The suspect had claimed that he was not feeling well and complained to the victim that she was denying him access to medication.

The suspect went on to commit suicide by hanging at Chigangaiwa Mountain.

In other news, ZRP is investigating a murder case where Lindani Moyo (33) died after being attacked by a mob at Batiki Village, Nkayi on 25/3/23.

The victim was a part of a robbery gang & was apprehended by the mob for allegedly robbing groceries and US$300 cash at Shamrock Farm, Bubi.

Meanwhile, the police is investigating a murder case where the body of Fredrick Moyo (27) was found at a certain house in Cowdray Park with stab wounds on thighs on 25/03/23.

Police is therefore calling on anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station.
