The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Bhekhimpilo Khumalo (19), who is being sought in connection with a murder case which occurred at Mambanje Village, Dete on 11/03/23 at about 2000 hours.
The suspect allegedly struck Peter Lupahla (24) to death with a stone once on the neck after a misunderstanding over a torch light.
The police is calling on anyone with information to report at any nearest police station.
Apparently, the police is on record urging members of the public to resolve their differences amicably and value the sanctity of life.
In other news, on 14/03/23, police arrested 37 people on the operation, “No to dangerous drugs and illicit substances,” bringing cumulative arrests to 3 792.
Meanwhile, 274 arrests were made on the Passenger Public Service Vehicles who are violating rules, bringing cumulative arrests to 9 287.
