Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema has announced that his deputy Floyd Shivambu has quit the party to join Umkhonto Wesizwe MK Party.
The MK party is led by former president Jacob Zuma.
Malema says when he got Shivambu’s letter, he “felt the same pain as when I received news of the passing away of my mother.”
