Liverpool Stun Barcelona With Historic Champions League Comeback

Liverpool have beaten Barcelona 4-0 in the second leg of their semi-final clash to go through to the Champions league final.

The reds started the match 3-0 down on aggregate and faced an uphill battle to reach the final. But goals from Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum saw Liverpool pull level by the 54th minute.

Origi took advantage of a lull in Barcelona’s defence in the 79th minute to score his second goal, and his team’s fourth, the winning goal of the match.

Liverpool will play the winner of tomorrow night’s semi-final between Ajax Amsterdam and Tottenham Hotspurs. The Dutch side are 1-0 ahead after the first leg in London.
