Linda Masarira a Tajamuka activist has been attacked on social media following her inflammatory statements suggesting that Ndebeles are cowards.\par

Masarira uttered her biased statements yesterday while attending a meeting in Harare.\par
\par
She went on to complain how Ndebeles in Bulawayo have been a big letdown when it comes to strikes and protests in Zimbabwe.\par
\par
However she was quickly reminded that the most vibrant and reliable protest movement in Zimbabwe, Takjamuka, is led by one Promise Mkwananzi who is not Shona and hails from Matebeleland.\par
\par
Meanwhile, Masarira has since apologised and asked her critics to remember that her own mother is Ndebele.\par

“For the record I am not tribalist, I am half Ndebele, I was just responding to a question from a person based in Matebeleland,” she said.\par
