Breaking News: ZRP Assistant Commissioner dies..Pictures

Earnest Muchenjekwa, a Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC) in the Zimbabwe Republic Police, has passed away.

Police National Spokesperson, Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba said SAC Muchenjekwa (pictured) died this Thursday morning at West End Clinic after a short illness.

He fell sick while he was away on police business in Swaziland and had returned home to seek medical treatment.

At the time of his death he was the Officer Commanding the Police Minerals and Border Control Unit.

He was born on the 4th of October in 1966 and was attested into the ZRP on the 1st of July in 1988 as a Patrol Officer.

A church service will be held for the late senior at the Morris Depot Chapel on Friday and will be laid to rest at Plot Number 6 Chikuti Farm in Karoi on Saturday.
